Pedals

I can supply complete wah wah pedals, or rebuild yours with all new circuitry. All rebuilds include my own circuit board with a replica halo inductor and on-board controls. True bypass wiring and a 2.1mm DC jack are standard. Please see the Gallery page for some examples.

Modifications

The following mods can be performed on most inductor-based wahs:

• True bypass
• Voicing mods (Q, low end, mids) - fixed setting or external controls
• Sweep mods - fixed setting or six position rotary switch with external knob
• Replacement inductor
• Output buffer, to allow use in front of a fuzz
• DC jack with filtering for external power supply
• Replacement pot - Pro Pot or Bourns
• Complete replacement circuit

I don't recommend modifying vintage wahs, as the value will almost certainly be affected, particularly where drilling holes is involved. Vox and Crybaby reissues are cheap and readily available, so there's no need to hack up an old wah.

Some new Dunlop wahs have circuit boards with plated through holes and surface mount components. These are more trouble than they're worth to work on; stick with an '80s-'90s pedal if you're looking for one to modify.
